Blogging: Be heard

Blogging: How to Get Your voice heard as a blogger

Share your thoughts or talents

People are paying more attention than ever to the opinion and insight of other people in this social media age. You can expect many to use this opportunity for sharing their ideas, thoughts and expertise with the world. Not all of the bloggers out there are dedicated, and you shouldn’t have to spend a year of your life writing blog posts to make a difference.

Blogging is a great activity to follow if you want to gain an appreciative audience and get your creative juices flowing. Anyone can blog with some training, and you don’t have to be a journalist to enjoy a dedicated audience.

You must focus on topics that will make your followers interested in reading what you have to say. You should try to blog about things that will give them something to think about, and that they don’t already know about.

You’re absolutely right! Successful blogging comes down to knowing your niche. There are many blogging niches but it’s crucial to know which ones fit your lifestyle and personality. To find a subject that’s interesting to your audience, you need to do your research and have a good grasp of the market you want to target. If you have strong opinions on subjects such as the social media, politics or technology, you’ll be sure to find lots of people to chat with.

Software Decisions

You need to make some simple decisions before you start blogging. Do you prefer WordPress or do you prefer Blogger? Or maybe you choose to use Tumblr as your blogging site? Blogger and WordPress are a few of the free options out there. Blogging about what you love isn’t just for writers anymore. With platforms like Tumblr, you can have a much more visually appealing blog than with WordPress or even Blogger.

Get Inspired

Some bloggers find that sitting down at the keyboard and typing is enough to generate lots of words. This is what I do every day. I have an idea that will keep me going throughout the day, which is why I have the creative process mapped out in advance. Fortunately the Internet is full of places to find inspiration.  Look for the top stories. You can also check out the news on social media, like Facebook or Twitter. If you’re searching for the very best online shopping, you should look no further than Amazon.com. Many feeds offer the option of viewing topics that are ‘trending’. Online user trends are popular topics. These trends have potential to drive some great ideas.

I just got my copy of this e-book and I can tell you it will get me going again and make me feel better, look at our own experiences and put together a list of the top 10, (such as “ten things having a teenager in the house taught me about patience”) or anything your life experience has taught. Don’t let other people tell you what to do and what not to do.

Some people have negative to say about whatever it is you’re doing. Please ignore the trolls. If you want to have a comment, please keep it civil.

In conclusion…

1. Your voice is the most valuable asset you have in a blogging business. When people don’t hear you speak they won’t read your words or hear your content. If you don’t use it, you lose it.

2. Use all the tools at your disposal to improve your brand and build relationships with your readers.

3. Take the time to become an expert in your niche and start building authority.

4. The only way to get more traffic to your site is to get readers to share and link back to your website.
