Working from Home As a Mom, You Need More Leads
Working from home, to be successful and have time to be a full-time Mom (or Dad!), I would like to explain to you that you need more leads, a lot more leads! I have been growing a network marketing business as a mom since 2008. I’ve done it the hard way and here I am, sitting, waiting for my son’s baseball game to start and thinking about how fortunate I am now. I remember having a job. I remember the strain of getting the boys and myself ready in the morning, off to school and then to work. Then, after work, pick up the kids, hurry home for homework and snack, then to baseball or soccer practice or maybe both then, fast dinner, finish homework, bath, bed, pick up the house, pay bills. Whatever. Get up and do it all over again. Pray Saturday comes fast.
I remember having a job and a business and then have just a business but it felt like more than a full-time job plus. Prospecting wherever I went, or at least trying to, rushing the boys through schoolwork, I remember talking to downline once on the way to supper with my husband and giving him the hand to be quiet! You are supposed to be relentless, focused and be committed. Well, I was and my business grew but I grew tired. So, I started looking elsewhere for more leads.
Now, watching the boys warm up for their game, just thinking about my business makes me so happy because now I have balance, time, and more flexibility. See, I don’t have to spend all waking hours trying to get more leads. I use a simple system.
To be successful at network marketing you have to have new people continuously looking at your business constantly. An ongoing flow of new leads is necessary with a funnel system that allows people take a look at your business. Some people use meetings, others use online presententations, videos, whatever it takes to get people the information. Online or offline. I am not sure that there’s one best way. What is best is what works for you and you have to keep at it until you figure it out. However you do it, though, you have to have more leads. Imagine if you could have more leads without more effort.
Not too long ago I found a funnel system that attracts people that are already in network marketing and teaches them to get more leads. Once someone is in the system, I can get to know them, vice versa so I end up with prospects that are more qualified because 1) they have been in network marketing already and 2) they are looking for a improved way and 3)they already have the same funnel system I am using because they needed more leads.
Have I confused you? That is possible, not because it is complicated. It isn’t. I’m not the best at explaining it so listen to my good friends, David Wood and David Sharpe. They developed the system and explain it better than I ever could.
It is so simple yet it requires that you learn a few things. Some of the things I learned I had no idea! It was like, oh! so that is how they do it!” You will be stunned and as you follow the system, you will be so happy you did!
